CourseGraphic This intensive hybrid 100-hour workforce healthcare program prepares applicants to sit for certification through the National Center for Competency Testing for Phlebotomy (NCPT) which is accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).  Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is eligible for employment opportunities with various healthcare agencies.  The phlebotomist’s primary function is to assist the healthcare team in accurate, safe, reliable collection and transportation of specimens for clinical laboratory testing. Students will complete a minimum of 40 hours of didactic online, 60 hours of campus lab and clinical training, and 60 successful unaided blood collections including venipuncture and skin punctures.
